A spinal cord injury can change a person’s life forever. While some of these injuries can be treated, helping the individuals regain their former level of health, this is not always the case.

These are the most common causes of a spinal cord injury, but other situations can lead to this health concern, as well.

You cannot spend your entire life worried that you are going to injure your spinal cord. However, you should realize that this is something that could happen. There are things you can to do reduce your chance of injury. At the same time, you never know when something bad could happen, such as another vehicle colliding with yours.
